New York Radio Host (Not Mike Francesa) Says “Women Should Be Left At Home”.

A crew member of TMKS, or The Michael Kay Show for the laymen, has had a difficult week to say the least.

The week started out with the New York Islanders sending a beautiful package of donuts to the TMKS studio thanking them for their support. Classy move Jon Ledecky. The note thanked host The Michael Kay, co-host Dominic LeGreco, and “crew”.

Apparently, being referred to as “crew” upset one of the contributors on the show. So much so that the crew member, later revealed as Peter Rosenbaum, lashed out with reckless abandon, a thirst for violence, and a heavy dose of misogyny.

First, the violence. In a clip from the show, Rosenbaum suggests that the New York Knicks physically strike Joel Embiid with a, “…nice good intentional accidental slap across Embiid’s face.” I’m all for bringing back the 80’s and 90’s style basketball of yesteryear, but there are wars going on around the world, don’t advocate to bring one to the basketball court.

See for yourself…

Brace yourself, because it gets worse, a lot worse.

Rosenbaum then decides to attack women. Not physically, thank God, but metaphorically. Only, it wasn’t really a metaphor. The semi-popular radio contributor suggested that women not be allowed to attend their significant others draft party!

He even started the hashtag #BanTheGirlfriends.

Think I’m joking? See for yourself…

In what should be a wholesome celebration of their athletic achievement and the start of a beautiful future spent with the ones they love, Rosenbaum believes women are not welcome.

He goes on to give examples of why women should be “banned” from achievement celebrations.

Furthering the ditzy girlfriend stereotype, the comments continued, “You have one girl looking off into space, looking confused and awkward.”. Maybe even as awkward as those two periods surrounding the quotes in the last sentence (I graduated college in 9 smooth years). But I’m guessing Rosenbaum would hold that against me if he ever found out.

But perhaps I’m being too harsh on Peter Rosenberg. And maybe those comments were taken only slightly out of context. Maybe he shouldn’t even be referred to as “crew”. Maybe I’m wrong about the whole thing!

Uh oh, Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Chevy Chase, Maryland anymore!

That was a fun trip wasn’t it? Maybe not for you, but it was for me…

Anything can be taken out of context, and sometimes it’s just fun to fuck around with it. But SOMETIMES, keepin’ it real, can go extremely wrong. Especially when douchebags like Phil Mushnick get involved…

Peter, if you or any one of your 346.5 thousand followers read this, I only aim to have fun. And until I heard Don say to @ people for more exposure, I guess I was just writing letters to my friends.

I’m new to this, wish me luck!
